The House Man > Jeremy Sylvester
Jeremy kicked off his career producing the early drum & bass anthems ‘Screwface’ and ‘Fantasy’, then an exhaustive stint at the Nice N Ripe label (preceded by Mr Grant Nelson) where he released some seminal UK garage as G.O.D, Deep Cover and Groove Connection (spawning the eventual Top 30 hit ‘Club Lonely’ for XL) amongst many others.
At Nice N Ripe, Jeremy & fellow producer Paul Emmanuel formed the hugely successful production/remix outfit Club Asylum. Remixing for All Saints, Jodeci, Shola Ama, Amira, Barbara Tucker, Ginuwine and many others. Never losing sight of his house roots, Jeremy also signed to Azuli records releasing as Electronica as well as under his own name, and as Class A (with Paul Emmanuel) through which they remixed / produced for artists such as Eddie Grant, DJ Disciple, and Gamberfreaks. Jeremy has a history as long as his arms…and anyone who knows him knows that's a long list…
More recently, Jeremy signed a single deal with Roger Sanchez’s label Stealth recordings (in conjunction with Defected) as Pure Orange. This track “Feel alive” gained NUMBER ONE position in the cool cuts chart twice within two weeks. An album release is due next year. Respected? You bet.
The Breaks Man > Nathan E Drake
Lowestoft born, London based Nathan E Drake began his music career in his hometown playing in a band with the rock legend Justin Hawkins. A few years on Nathan turned to the Old Skool music scene before moving to the big smoke to study a degree in music technology.
Whilst at London College of Music, with such comrades as the Stanton Warriors, Nathan played a key role in the emergence of London’s BreakBeat scene.
His intuitive & natural ability to produce astounding rhythm patterns & his passion for Percussive breaks & beats saw him performing all over London, collaborating alongside the likes of Adam Freeland, Tayo, Rennie Pilgrem and others @ FRICTION, way back then at Bar Rumba…Remember…
He’s toured with Bolshi/Big Life records as Percussionist; played Glastonbury and Rothskilde. Toured his own London based club night (SWITCH) in Shanghai & Beijing as DJ & Percussionist.
He also produces On Line Music. Clients have included Big Brother Website & Glenfiddich Whiskey.
